Default Brushed Black Finish, Good or Bad

I've been looking at a KingQuad thinking about getting one I don't think I would ever buy black however I wanted to know if the brushed black stands up to scratches any better than normal black plastic. I've seen where some of the previous models had a clear coat peeling problem but aside from that how does it hold up?

Have not had any issues with mine, but I also take good care of my Kingquad.I do like how the plastic is not brittle like some other special edition plastics. Also...it really doesnt look black..more like a brushed grey or gunmetal...I like the looks of it...definetly different than your basic black!
