86 LT250R with 36mm pj carb

Default 86 LT250R with 36mm pj carb

does anyone have any experience with a 36mm pj carb on a LT250R with a pipe on it I need to know what a good jet setting is for a broken in motor

ive seen lt250r's with 39mm carbs on them and theyre just insane. is your cylinder ported?

my cousins is the one Im asking about mine is a 87 powervalved with a 38mm airstryher carb,I just had CT Racing port it MX style,bore it 60 over and do the stock head for 93-100 octane,new Hotrod crank,pro reeds,FMF system for go fast work it stays with my friends built banshee(barely) but its faster on trails and tracks due to its better handling and the +2 A-arms help too

ill bet! banshees handle like complete *** compared to the zooks, especially on the trails!!

is the PJ a "D" slide?

if theres a skilled rider on a built shee youll be workin your *** off to stay ahead those things are no joke speed wise I wonder how my friends is gonna go when he widens it and puts better suspension under it atleast Ill still be better at hill climbs

the lt250r has more torque and slightly better top than a stock shee. but if you invest money in the shee you have two cylinders to work with instead of one so they can get really insane

My buddys shee has big carbs radvalves coolheads paul turner midrange pipes and bored 60 over its fast while mines fast too I have to stay on my game
