Default need advice quick

Hi guys I have an option to buy 3 quads for 800.00. they are 1 suzuki 230e quadsport it runs fine and just needs a battery, and 2 suzuki 125s one of them they put a brand new automatic clutch in and then after a month they said the tranny started making weird noises but the engine was still fine(they didnt say what). the other 125 is complete except no engine and tranny assembly, Both 125s have brand new tires on them. He will also include a spare 230 motor and a few other 230 parts. He told me I could have it all for 800 or just the 230 for 500. I would like to go look at them and offer 750. what do you guys think.

I was thinking about doing that but I might fix up the 125 with tranny issues and use at as a beater to loan to people. I am thinking about putting the spare 230 motor in the 125 that doesnt have a motor. It would make a interesting project.

it would but you have to look at suspension issues and fun factor too. the 125 is a good beater but they beat you to death in the rough stuff
