Hi, How do u adjust the chain on a 87-92 Quadracer 250? I've heard that it is pretty hard, would i need to invest in some chain tensioners, anything that will help????

Do you even have a Quadracer yet? If you do its not that hard just loosen up 4 allen bolts clamped on the swingarm usualy 9mm allen wrench. And pull the chain whele (on the r) from there. it takes no more then 10 minutes

Actualy on the 87 and up model u have to loosen 4 bolts 2 size 17mm and 2 size 14mm. Then u will tighten 2 bolts on the rear, size 13mm, tighten them untill you get to the desired tension. Tighten the 4 bolts back up, and ur done.

Its not that hard untill the left bolt that pulls back the axle carrier snapps off and you have to have somebody pull on the axle while somebody else tightens those 4 pain in the rear bolts.Well hopefully nobody else ever has the same problem.

The easist way to adjust the chain is to get a Laeger swingarm So that's not the cheapest way but I am so happy I dumped the stocker.
