Default Plans for ltz455

well i have a heavly moded ltz400, BBK, cams, porting, open air box prodesign filter, HMF full system....etc. anyway im still running the stock carb, i have a 38mm Kenhin carb with accel pump from a 250x. just wondering if the stock carbs were usless with a moded motor, i can feel it has a lot of power ever scince i ran straight 110. any ideas? thanks

a 38mm carb *should* be adequate for a 455cc 4 stroke. however, when you say it has alot of power, are you talking about midrange pull or does it keep on going up into the topend?

it has more of a top end than anything, but like when you hear/ride it you can feel it has potential, the problem is unlocking that potential. and the carb is the only thing still stock on the motor. so i am going to try that 38 with 110 and see how it runs.

I'd try it. It will make a big difference over the stock carb.
You may want to find an fcr 39 or 40 though.
