Just sold my 250 last year. It was a blast, but just couldn't hang handling wise with the 450 in the garage. Still, I would love to have a zilla.

really I find that my 250r handles pretty good but then everyone has different riding styles. the zilla is more a go straight and climb like heck quad can't throw it around like the 250r

Don't get me wrong, the LT250R handles fine. My bro bought an '87 after he rode my zuk and saw how much better it handled over his Banshee. When I upgraded to the YFZ, he bought his own 450 within a month.

87 LT250R built from ground up. I love it. 2-stroke smoke and race fuel. CT racing did a complete build on tranny and engine, and I LOVE it.

proud 86 lt250r owner here.

its just awesome how even today, my old *** bike still rips craptors and most 450s all day long.

the handling isn't exactly modern, but i still prefer my bike over stock yfz's. although, my bike isnt exactly stock.

the other thing i love about my r is how simple it is. i can change reeds and rings in my sleep haha. and electrical issues? forget it. theres like 8 wires on the entire bike lmao... plus the powerband is awesome. you can lug that thing like a dump truck an before you know it, SNAP it's pulling hard!

plus, theres still substantial aftermarket support out there, unlike my 230.
