Default King Quad No start Low compression

I bought this thing last week, Gas was stale Previous owner could only get it started by push starting ? I heard it run Would not idle but sounded good and I drove it real quick OK, Rebuilt the carb Now It won't start. Carb was dirty Idle circuit clogged etc, Spark looks good on a spark tester And compared to my Lakota, Compression is only 60, If I add Oil to the cylinder it jumps to 120+ I'm guessing a ring sealing problem but Just curious for advice, I'm a mechanic by trade and have run into many cars where fuel washes down the cylinders but they come back to life easy.

You pretty much answered yourself, you just need to try. Also, what size is it. I know the 300's love to eat intake valves (recess).

I think you are right on with the intake valve, I checked it and it's hanging open slightly I'd rather give it a valve job than a lower end. Thanks
