Look for any amount of smoke from the exhaust. The Kings were known for a really crappy air filter and if the stock filter is still in it, that could be an issue. Most of us with Kings have learned to change the air filter ASAP.

Apparently this guy is really **** about keeping things clean. He installed a new OEM exhaust on the back end. It was a little muddy but not caked in hard to reach areas. There was no smoke what so ever and he has replaced the stock air filter. Other that the 2200 miles there is nothing wrong that i can see. I hopeully will have a deal today and have this atv by the weekend. I will keep you guys updated.

Yeah I was shocked to see it looks so clean for that many miles. Other than normal wear it looks new, even the plastics were wiped down inside and out. I can't wait to get this thing. I hope there is no catastrophic mess hiding under all that shine

Be sure to give a through test ride to check it out if you have not done so already!

No I haven't yet, I just saw it run and it’s located in a more "urban" part of the city so I wasn't too excited about hopping on it and taking off. I will definitely do that before any money exchanges hands, what should I be looking for and how should I test it to look for problems. If it needs tie rods or something easy I will over look that because I can do those easy, but steering and other issues I am not sure of.

You basically just need to use common sense. Listen for any strange noises that it rides like it should. Sometimes (not saying this one) when everthing is so perfect like this, the owner migh be trying to hide something tho I realy dont think this is the case with this one.

Some people are like me and take GREAT care of toys to not only make them look good but it helps you find leaks, makes them last longer and help with resale if needed.

The only other thing I can think of to look for is the rear A-arm bushings. Another issue among Kings but not an expensive fix. Jack up the back end and look for play at the upper and lower part of the rear a-arms. Not a big deal but an issue that you may have to deal with in time.
Sounds like a nice ATV and you'll love it. Not great ground clearance but great comfort and plenty of power.
Good luck
Buck
