z400 clutch problem

Default z400 clutch problem

need help sorry not a good typer changed clutch on bike now no pressure at lever is there marks iam missing wait on oem manual from suzuki but 10 days away going nutts tx

did you put the rod back in?
Did you get the right clutch? I think they changed in 05. One more disc or plate or something like that.
Did you mess with the cables at all? Could be you need to adjust it at the arm on the case.
Don't really know. I've never had a problem after doing my clutches but there are a few non-expert ideas.

rods in button on the end of rod is there marks on the basket and plate that need to line up never removed the cable

no marks but the very last plate goes different then the rest.
Did you soak the clutch in oil overnight before installation? I don't think that is related to your issue but it is something you are supposed to do. I'm sure it is for the purpose of impregnating all the clutch material prior to install as it is a "wet clutch".

where the rod slide thru could something have spun around on the otherside of the motor on the plates have the spring seat then second one cupped side facing out last plate is one notch diffrent in the basket got me stumped reinstalled old clutch and same problem worked fine before guess i broke something found part sheet not missing any parts
