I just got a hold of a suzuki 125 atv and it runs good starts descent but when I start to move and go through the gears it is very weak sluggish like its in a higher gear. I can barely make it up a minor incline. It starts out ok then as I goe up the hill It won't make it. I cleaned the carb but it still does it. the fuel pump was just dangling so I bolted back where it goes the transmissin seems fine because it does not rev up high when trying to move . I would appreciate any suggestions.

 

Will it rev up when in neutral? Did you remove the jets and clean them? Check to see that the fuel tank is vented and make sure enough fuel is getting to the carb.

 

yes I did clean the jets and the tank ha s a nipple at the top end but nothing attached to it . when it is ay idle it dont seem like it reaches its peak and i took the hose off from the fuel pump to the carb and the flow does increase when reved up.
