ltz400 cutting out, help!!!

Default ltz400 cutting out, help!!!

ok so i have a 05 z400 cuts out in nuetral at high rpm or low rpm under load, sat around for around a yr, so naturally i pulled the carb and cleaned very well, twice! new plug, gapped! new k&n air filter just in case not to up to date on these newer machines and could use some good advice. would appreciate any thought or comments, thanks. next was thinking coil???? o yeah all fuses good too.

Did you put in fresh gas?

did u check the fuel pump or filter?

there isnt a fuel pump its gravity fed, i did clean all the screen for the fuel tho. there really isnt a actual filter just small screens on the petcock and one in the carb.

have you taken the carb off and COMPLETELY cleaned it out and inspected the jets?

well we could use a bit more info, whats the jetting ,is the box lid on or off ,is it a stock CDI,

jetting and cdi completly stock, air box lid is on and pulling it off makes no change already tried, the only thing changed is the k&n filter. thanks for the reply's guys!

think cdi could be bad??
