Hey I have a question about suzuki vins, my 230's has a sticker on it that has the vin and says this bike was manufactured in 6/1985. but when I ran the vin it said it was a 86'. I noticed the same thing on my 230e and 230f. do the stickers on the frame say the wrong year??? Or are they right

 

they are always manufactured a year before their release. and the release year is the year your buy parts for.
