what are somethings that comonly go bad on them?

 

nothing I know of. Its a two stroke its a different riding style than a four stroke bike all I ride is two stroke quads

 

well ive never owned a bike but ive road them plenty of times.

 

if you buy an rm250 dont go any older than a 92. the cranks from 91 and older were real bad to sheer off on the right side. i had an 89 and it cost me a bundle. then i got a 94 and it was a way better set up. and it got bike of the year in motocross action way back when and after owning it i could see why. it was a great bike. but i wanted my lt250r so i traded it for it

 

**** well thanks for the advise but kinda a little to late for me now it will be traded back or up on craigslist but reasons for trading back is the guy who i traded my 87 lt230 rebuilt pretty mmuch ground up now i have a clutch problem newport please look at my other thread you semm to know wat your talking about and evrything has worked that you have sugested
