Exclamation Motor problems

Hello everyone!

I own a 2005 kind quad 700 with vdi copperhead ecu, hmf exhaust, clutch kit, and a few other none performance mods.

I was riding the other day at 70 mph which is pretty close to being throttled out...the fourwheeler all of the sudden slowed down, blew a small puff of smoke, and lost all power for a second I stopped and the fourwheeler shut off...i refired it to find that it would start fine and run fine, but has a small knock to the motor now what could be my problem? rod bearing or piston skirt maybe?
