the difference from the e and the s is that the s is a quadsport, and the is runner, there is really significant difference except a little bit different style for body work, and the little stuff, but always try to get the exact parts for your bike , hope this was helpful

i have an 87 lt230e quadrunner, when the bikes idling, the lights are bright and flicker, when i get on the throttle the lights get dim.. does anyone know what could cause this?? bad voltage regulator maybe? the quad has no battery in it, i have yet to hook one up that is fully charged and see if that does anything.. any pointers greatly appreciated!!

Check for lose or broken wire's.. Also look for any wire's grounded to the frame...
