What is the shift pattern on the Ozark and how do you find neutral? lol

I bought an older Ozark that needs a bunch of work and, never having had one before, I am not sure how to get it into neutral. The neutral light doesnt light up regardless of what I try: down a bunch of times, up a bunch of times, down a bunch and the slightly up like my old motorcycle...

 

nuetral is all the way down with 5 up. and to get reverse you twist the little black reverse **** and kick it down again when in neutral
