1986 lt250r timeing!!! Plz help

thats the weep hole that lets you know that your water pump seal is bad. when water comes out its time for new seals and maybe a new impellor shaft

ya i found that out earlier today so i took the pump cover off n impeller bolt was loose so i took the clutch cover off and the crank shaft nut was backed off and rounded off the threads in the nut the shaft i should beable to fix the threads since i have one from another motor may the seals still be good?

ya the hole is just to let u know that its out and its not working the best bet is ebay

if u take it apart put in a new seal and check the shaft for pitting. i replaced all that in mine

srry bout all those messages my computer was tweakin out but i would change the seals just to be safe

i have ordered the whole pump ***. i also have a ltz 400 and have someone wanting to trade a 03 built banshee any imput on that?

if u like the 2 strokes i would defanitly go with the banshee the 4 strokes just have the better low end but 2 strokes have that speed u want also its a twin

ok here's the deal on the shee 96 frame 06 motor went from the 2 carb to 1 piped bored how do i know its a 06 motor? any kind of sigs on it?

i think i would have stuck with the 2 carb because yamaha factory got the most power out of it by using 2 carbs but ive never rid one with one carb on it so it could be faster and the motor issu would u have to do some research between 06 motors and 96 motors to look for differences on the outside its just like the lt250r"s
