Ook i got an 1986 lt250r quadracer just a fresh rebuild put new pick up coil stator piston crank and magnito on it i need help on how to set the timeing on it how do i do it??? Plz help cuzz i cant start it until i do this thx austin

what do you mean set the timing? its a 2 stroke so to dont have to time the cam to the crank like a four stroke. all you do is on the stator loosen the stator bolts and align the center marks at each bolt and thats about it

 

thats what i thought i tried tellin my budy that is rebuilding the motor that u dont have to thx man

 

if ur bubby didnt know that i'm not to sure i would have him build it i'm havin trouble settin n jettin my carb on my zilla and theres a hole leakin water i dont know if thats how u tell the pump is out ?

 

well i been at work and i couldnt build it myself hes only built 4 stroke i tried tellin him it doesnt have timeing but wheres the hole at thats leakin water i just built one of those last winter on vacation for someone

 

its under the water pump in the clutch cover dont look like there was a plug in it no marks on the cover from the head of a bolt? and my oil is gray

 

ya defanitly dont run it because that means your water pump is bad it went out and isnt pumping water anymore

 

that sux ive been lookin and can't find one so whats the hole for ? to let u know it's out?
