Our quad has starting problems - new battery, keeps discharging. The quad will start when we jump it, eventually (sometimes just clicks), or we can push start it. Suspect the starter is shot, but cant find it. Where is it located and how hard is it to remove/replace? Theres only about 300 hours on it, but they're hard hours (used as a work vehicle for hauling/plowing, rarely just for joyriding)

 

Im not sure but i think it,s below the carb. I guess i would trace the postive batt cable down to the other end and this will lead to starter.... Its not hard to remove and rebrush it....
