Question nerf bars for 1985 suzuki lt230s?

Does anyone out there know of anyone who still makes or stocks nerf bars for an 85 lt230s or has or knows someone who has a set they'd like to sell? I've had it for 7 years and when riding on the trails I could really use a set to keep my feet and legs from taking such a beating. I guess the second best thing would be to know if there are some out there that could be easily modified to fit this quad (I know its not the best solution but anything would be better than nothing). I would really appreciate any info anyone has to offer Thanks in advance.

I'm in michigan and at this point am really only interested in the set of nerf bars. I have another 85 that I've parted out so really have no need for the other items. I also have a clymer manual as well. If it would be possible or if you are still interested in selling the nerf bars I would be very appreciative.

If it doesn't work out with the other fellow I got a set a few years ago for my 89 lt250s quadsport. They are made by Gradon pro-line and are soppose to fit the 230's as well. I'm not interested in selling mine but they should still be available. Maybe you can find a pair if you check around for them.

Thanks newport and ktm and sorry bruin I did order a new set on Friday...I really didn't wanna take the chance of them not fitting. Everything I gathered was that 85 and 86 bars were not identical to what would fit on the 86 and 87 model. Thanks for all the help and again bruin I apologize for the no go.

Just some extra info as far as fitment of the nerf bars! I do believe that the nerf bars I bought for my 85 230s will fit 85-88 230s and 230e. I'll check out the part numbers quick for ya. If the numbers look ok then the nerf bars that bruin has/had will work for you although I don't think he had any of the mounting bolts to go with it but just ask you never know...coming up with the right bolts is the easy part, it's the nerfs that are harder to find.
