Colbra exhaust question

Default Colbra exhaust question

I have a colbra exhaust and i was wondering if i get a new tip on the end can i pack it with exhaust packing(FMF packing) if it will sound better and be quieter, kinda like an FMF exhaust, also what other exhaust tips will work on it?

Depending on the Cobra exhaust you have, you may be able to get a new tip already packed and just put it into your housing. Ive done it several times on my 185s and on mt lt250s.

Might be more quiet. It might sound better....It should run better.

To be honest, the only thing I would pack a Cobra exhaust with is blasting powder,then light it, there are much better mufflers out there than that brand,but they are inexpensive,and that might be a consideration.

I have to agree, unfortunately some of the bikes don't have much of a selection on the exhaust parts. Usually it's between Cobra and DG, cobra seems to have more of a selection.

Thats the problem IMO...the mufflers Cobra makes are for models that don't have much (if any) selection for performance or even stock replacement.
