Do you mean that the quad isn,t starting at all or just isn't staring correctly? The timing shouldn't be out unless you've had the machine apart. The ignition timing isn't adjustable and the only way it coulg be off is if the flywheel key is sheared. If its the crank/cam timing you want, let me know and I'll fill you in .

NO IT MAY NOT START IF IT IS OUT THAT FAR. DID YOU HAVE THIS BIKE APART? THERE ARE TIMING MARKS ON THE FLY WHEEL THAT YOU HAVE TO LINE UP TO MAKE THIS WORK. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU PURCHASE A SHOP MANUAL FOR IT BECAUSE IT WILL SAVE YOU A TON OF MONEY IN PARTS AND LABOR. PLUS IT WILL SHOW PICS OF ALL OF THIS.WHAT HAPPENED BEFORE THIS HAPPENED DID YOU TEAR IT APART OR DID THIS JUST SUDDENELY HAPPEN? IF IT JUST HAPPENED CHECK FOR SPARK AND FUEL, OR YOU MIGHT HAVE A STUCK VALVE.
