Default 2010 KQ 450 AXI Questions??

Hi All,

Still shopping, and I know where there are a few 2010 KQ 450 AXI left.

What are the good, bad & ugly on these?? Weak CV shafts a rumour??

I will be doing trail riding, not any hardcore mudding, and road riding, as well as some chores.

All comments & experiences welcome.

still shopping you say? i still say the sportsman 500 is the best value on the market, but if you can get a king quad 450 for a similar price then go with whichever you feel more comfortable on. i never rode a newer kingquad

Thumbs up KQ Problems

I have owned a KQ 450 since '07 and I have NO Issues with it, it is a fine machine.

In '09 I bought a second KQ, but I went one notch up to the 500 - this gave me the Electric Power Steering (EPS) which is a God Send!

Either machine will give you years of trouble free riding, but I am in love with the EPS - it takes a lot of the strain (arms and shoulders) out of a long ride, sudden bumps from rocks are softened and the EPS makes low speed manouvering a breeze.

If you can afford the extra money - I would recommend the KQ500 with the EPS.

I agree. The 450 is a rock solid machine. One of the most reliable out there. The 500 w/EPS is even better!

All the th KQ have the same chassis, 450,500,750 ,only the motors are different.

Here is a 450 winning a 500 Utility shootout. 500 Class Clash | ATV Magazine Online
