rough idle??

Default rough idle??

I have a 2007 Kingquad that has ran a little rough on idle since new. Being fuel injected I thought it would run smooth as silk (like my 1998 carburated Honda). I've had it back to the dealers but they say all is fine. So what gives????

Is it an overhead cam if it is normal to have a rough idle.

yes it is overhead cam. Why would that effect the idle?

I'm not too familiar with efi toys but couldn't you just bump the idle up a tiny bit to smooth it out some....

I honostly dont know everyone always says that so thats what i go by.

I did a little research and the reason overhead cams have a rough idle is because of overlap that is the time where both valves are open. The reason only overhead cams have this is still a
