i resently rescued a 89 lt 80 from behind a barn. i brought it home cleaned the carb check the wiring and got it running. when it runs it runs good. but after i shut it off it will not start again for a while. any ideas or thoughts? thx!

Does it start easy (it seems not)?
I'd check the compression. That's my first thought seeins you cleaned the carb.
