loosen bolts back there and the back carrier should twist or push in to tighten or loosen the chain. I have not had a quadracer in a while so I can't remember. I think I have a manual so I can check. jeff

there are 2 12mm bolts on the axle carrier. loosen them out. and there should be an arrow on the carrier. stick a drift or a punch in one of the holes and spin the carrier toward the engine. this should loosen the chain. you need 1 inch to 1 3/8 inch of play on the bottom run of the chain, with no one sitting on the quad. them tighten the the 12mm bolts back down.

thats pretty much the max slack you can have before the chain derails and destroys the mag cover. but if you have an o-ring chain there is not too much to worry. i usually run my chain with an inch of play since i ramp around alot and i have an o-ring. took me a while and 2 set of swinger bearings to learn the happy middle though.
