Arrow I Want to Upgrade The Rear Shock On my Z400

Hey all,

I just nabbed some front elkas from a good buddy of mine that races, he used to race the 400s, now they race the 450s.

I had a 300 ex that I used a 2001 Raptor 660 rear shock on.

I was wondering if I can do somthing like that for my 2003 z400.

Maybe put 2009 or newer z400 rear shock?
or any year ltr 450 rear shock?

Any other machines that have better rear shocks that bolt in?

I know I could always try and get a works, or elka or fox $$$ shock. but I usually cant spend that much on one part.

I do alot of rough trail riding, with lots of speedy smooth runs, whoops, mud, and theres a bunch of small jumps I hit while riding.
Im 215 lbs

Thanks

I'd recommend a rebuild from GThunder in Ohio.

Go Here::GT Thunder - Quadzone Forums
FYI: you cav ask Laz if he works on your shock.
FYI 2: the company name is pronounced GT Thunder and it's located in Ohio.
