I am getting a somewhat loud clicking noise coming from my motor at idle. The noise goes away of idle, and I cannot tell where it is coming from.
The only other symtom is the power valve actuator doesn't appear to be moving.

Any suggestions would help.

I agree with "love250x". When a rod bearing begins to fail, you will hear it at idle when there is very little load on the engine. Piston slap could also be the culprit but is probably less likely if the noise is loud. Piston slap occurs when the cylinder wears to the point that the piston is able to "slap" or tip back and forth as it goes up and down the cylinder.
