Default 2002 lt80

Things look pretty good on the new machine.

I was thinking of the following. Please tell me if I'm on the right track.

This is for my 9 year old daughter (upgrade from Kazuma Falcon 90). No racing; just trail riding (though she's fairly aggresssive). We're in Denver at 5200 ft. We usually ride at 8000-10000ft.

Injector still works so I was going to leave it? ( I use amsoil synthetic)
Boysen Reeds?
LT80's clutch mod? Would this make it too jerky for trail-riding? Or rap out the engine at trail riding speeds? Or is this a "must-do"?
Jet recommendations for our altitude?
Open style air cleaner to get more air (altitude)? I'd have to research what I could do here.
Reverse the wheels for a little wider track (or spacers?) Would this increase trail feedback quite a bit?

That's it for now. I'm headed to the shop to tighten-up the front brakes.

Thanks guys!

Amsoil makes a injector oil? (just making sure).
Reeds are a good idea.
The rear clutch mod helps eliminate the start out bog. Removal of a roller or 2 will make it less snappy. I consider the stock LT80 jerky at start. The mods help that.
No it's not a have to but as you may have read, everyone seems to like the mods.
The LT80 is not altitude sensitive like other machines. Stock jetting or maybe go down to a 90 main. Watch the plug color.
I'd leave the air filter alone. I can get a LT80 to rev to 13k+ with the stock filter set-up.
Your getting plenty of air.
Wider is allways better.

Great answers! Good to hear from someone who knows. I will double check that oil, and follow the other advice given. Thanks for the help!!

Incidentally, looks like the springs in the bottom of the front brake cables are in pieces so I'll be replacing them.

Thanks again!
