1985 lt230s Help Please!!!!

Default 1985 lt230s Help Please!!!!

Here the problem went to order parts today frame vin says its 1985 lt 230s guy i always buy my parts from was asking me about it i told fim it has reverse and electric start says it cant be an 1985 they didnt have electric start put my vin in it says its 1985 lt 230s is it possible the engine was swapped i do have a stamp on the motor can anyone tell me what year the engine is or anything thanks Stamped on the engine is this number J411-109191 Thanks very much

It is a possible engine swap but not very likely because the frames are very diffrent

Sounds like a 230e is it auto, have kickstart also or just electric/ pull? The e versionhas the elec/ pull and auto. The s was kickstart only and manual shift but there were aftermarket electric start kits

yea its clutch and kick and electric start 230s quadsport found out it is an aftermarket kit on it

i want it bad.........
that sideways kick start is hard on me.

use the decomp lever!! thats why its there. its designed to make an S model kick over easier.

It's the whole kicking it sideways thing.
Always tends to happen that i need to restart it while precariously tipping over a cliff of sliding down a steep dune.

no offense, but it sounds like you need to learn more about gear selection before trying steep hills.
