be sure your rear hubs are tight. they got loose on ours and the splines stripped out of the hubs. the axle was ok though. i believe the timberwolf has the same splines. i dont recall what year though, it was also a solid rear.

What i notice that my carb looks oily....
And from the bottom of the engine i can see drops after a while... might have to open it up and gasket all..
Also at the start i see blue smoke for like 30 seconds and then i have to adjust the choke for it to stay on but no more smoke. But if i move the choke a little it will shut off.. The Quad feels great and runs great just need to find out how hard those things are to fix.
I now how to fix cars but never tried ATV's

I think im going to open up the motor once im done with the body.
Im going to do piston rings and hone it for the rings so if its oil thats going threw the rings. Also doing Valve Adjustments and port polish the intake side. Re-gasking the whole motor since it leaking oil. Should cost around 200-250 i hope.

Smoking on start up is bad valve seals, just buy new valves, $20, and a top end gasket kit $15 which should come with new seals and replace the valves and seals. Dont waist money on a top end piston kit if it only smokes on start up.
