Default 1985 lt230s needs to be revived

I just picked up this 1985 lt230s been in storage 17 years and is all original, but the chain broke or doubled up and went around the sprocket, and took everything else out with it, I am really after the stator cover, and left engine case and would to get it back up and running after it sat for all these years. thanks any help is appreciated. Thanks

Hi and congratulations on the 85!
I am also rescuing one.
Check in the 230s help thread. Good people in there. No need to read the full thing, just get a feel for the last few pages.

There is also the Vault to check into.

Also wanted to mention that the typical issue with the chain coming off is indicative of bad swing arm bushings. There are bearing kits available.
Also a bad chain or poor adjustment will do it, but if the swing arm is wiggling all around it will ruin the chain and make it impossible to get a good adjustment anyways. So do check the arm is tight in its motion.
