Every area is different and the same goes for machine shops.
I would call around and tell them what you want done and see what you are looking at cost wise.
Its been almost 10 years since I had a lawn more engine bored out and oversized piston and rings.
Most machine shops charge by the hour, and boring and ect, is labor only, then you can ask about getting a piston thru them. they usually get a better deal, than what you would get.
I would be curious, too, if you call around, Id be interested in know the cost. since im about 10 years out of date.

Well i really appreciate your help, I'll have an update sometime next week when i acquire some "fun money" to go towards the rebuild, you know how it goes So basically, all I'm doing right now is preparing the fenders, frame and exhaust for a fresh coat of paint. Will definitely get some pictures tomorrow, although they wont be much since pieces of the bike are scattered around. Thanks

What website would you guys recommend i get parts from? I think I've narrowed it down to bikebandit, dennis kirk and powersportpro. Does anyone have experience with any of those sites? I think im ready to order everything... But i don't want to spend over $100 on a site with a bad reputation.

I have only used dennis kirk and that was years ago, but they did a good job.
I have looked at bike bandit, allot and they look like a decent site.
I have had good success with e-bay. Just due to finding allot of the same thing out there for my models. which allows me to make a offer on some of the stuff and other times I just wait until the auction ends and I make a private offer to them, when there is no bids. I have to watch the shipping though.
