Default 2003 suzuki 50 quadsport wont start!?!? Please help

I just purchased a little 2003 Suzuki 50. The girl that sold me the quad had no clue of anything about it (neither do I). Is this quad a 4 stroke or 2 stroke? I took the seat off and noticed it has an oil reservoir tank which clearly says "oil". Does this mean it is just straight gas? For now it wont start, I checked for spark and there is plenty. I did add straight gas since I thought It might be a 4 stroke. If it is a 2 stroke what would the oil/gas mixture be? I hope I didn't mess up anything by putting straight gas in case it's a 2 stroke! Thank you much in advance for your help.

I do not know if this is a two troke or not. I asume a 4 stroke.

Likely the carb needs cleaned. esp if its been sitting, buying a non running atv, always means work. or a great price or both.

I cleaned the carb really good and aired all the junk that could be stuck within the orifices. Everything seemed to be ok except for the fact that fuel started flowing straight thru the exiting fuel line of the carb (overflow). I don't know if maybe the floater is not working properly or ??????? I'm really lost here, any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Either it needs a rebuild carb kit, or soemthing it missing, or the float adjsut is out of spec. or the screw that typically has a rubber basket (not all do), to seal the flaot bowl, this is what is typically used to drain a carb for winter storage.

It's a 2 stroke.
You put 2 stroke injection oil in the oil res.
Straight gas in the tank.

There is a problem with the float/needle in the carb. Take the carb back off and see what's going on with that.
