ok thanks alot, one more question do you know what kind of engine oil to put in this, i bought some amsoil dominator 2 cycle racing oil, but noticed on the back it said for recommended for injection oil or as a 50-1 premix, so my question is can i put this in the engine, and if not can i use it for mixing at the 32-1 ratio, sorry for all the questions, and thanks again for the help

I don't think I would use 80w oil, that seems to be to heavy. The manual saids to use 20w-40 which they do not make any more, so I use 20w-50. Amsoil should be ok. But you should look for oil that you can mix at 32-1. If this motor was completely rebuilt I would run 50-1 for at least a tank full. And remember let this quad warm up first before riding it. You must feel the head on the engine to make sure it is warm.

good advice on letting the engine warm up, not sure I would ever feel the head though. If it is truely up to operating temps it would be a little hot to the touch don't you think? Best to let it idle for a few minutes, then take it easy for a few at the beginning of your ride.
