lt230 Carb question

Default lt230 Carb question

Hello new to the forum. I was wondering will a carb off a lt230s fit my lt230e? Thanks in advance.

yeah it will but the choke cable will no longer work. the 230s carb has a lever on it for the choke. i am also pretty sure they are jetted the same too.

Thanks for the reply. That works for me I'd rather have the choke on the carb anyway.

One more question. If I get the black DG exhaust will I have to re jet my carb?

i ran a full free flow Cobra exhaust on mine and never messed with the carb. Unless you buy a K&N air filter to go with it, then yes you will have to richen the carb up a bit.

I have a uni air filter in it now.

you'll be fine then. A high flow K&N needs more fuel. But a Uni is kinda like a stock replacement, with a little better air flow.

I just rebuild my carb what would be a good setting to start my elevation is 1500feet just need a lill help my carb is a mikuni carb on the lt230sh engine help would b appreciated
