Default Quad 250 LTF

I have serial number JSAAJ47A6T2102283 I i think it is a LTF 250. It runs fine but when you let off gas it will idel for about 45 sec. then cut iff. it will start right back up. The mechanic says they replaced the cockpit valve or something, pit **** maybe. but did not use the 170 dollar one. and used a 50 dollar one. the correct one had a vaccume to keep gas flowing, now i have the issue, Whay can be done any suggestions? also where can i find a manual on line?

Hi,
maybe vacuum fuel tap / valve, will allow fuel through it when motor is running normally has a hose to the inlet manifold. Mechanic replaced with a standard on / off tap ?
Easy way to tell if a fuel blockage is to remove the fuel line running to the carb turn fuel tap on there should be a steady stream, if it trickles or stops ether a blocked filter of air lock in the tank
cheers
Terry

I am not the expert, but i heard you need to make sure you plug the vacuum line to the carb for that to work well. Let me know what you come up with.
