New to ATV connection but not to ATV's. Looking to buy a suzuki z400. Been reading like crazy and have seen all the things to look for.

Now knowing this I am still going to ask this question so please don't flame me too hard. I have found a few locally and all are sold. Today a 04 came up and it has the 440 big bore kit. My gut says to run only because if it wasn't done right it is living on borrowed time but the price is good so its peaking my interest. I have a compression gauge and know about the weak points on the frame that are suspect to cracking. Anything else I need to look for or should i run away? I have modded motorcycle motors before and if done right they will run for a long time.
