You don't even know where you live. You sure you don't have a LT80 or LT160 or something??
I do have a chit eating grin so I can't argue with the breath....dammit.

Now back to the subject. The 87 must be same spline as 88-up. Why make a one year only hub? The 85-86 are a large diameter 4 lug. Five lug started in 87.

Bah........moot point anyway.....turned out to be a typical craigs list liar. The quad had newer plastic......from a 230, so the kick start hit it unless you hugged the side hard. the "rebuilt" motor was dirty and leaked, the clutch, even when fully disengaged, would still allow the ATV to creep and stall. wires hung all underneath.....the explaination I got was......"it was a race quad, they take a lot of stuff off" . Carb leaked when you shut it off unless you turned off petcock...kid was too cheap to even put in a needle and seat, and it sputtered and surged when test rode............" oh, I just got it out of the shed , been sitting for a couple months". Wasted trip and waste of time. Even for 1000, it still needed too much work, and I wasnt about to start tracking down all the wires. Not even any dash lights for neutral, and no key, it was hard wired to start whenever you kicked it over.....again.the excuse..."its a race quad".
