Default Rear hub adaptor...87 LT250R

Does anyone know a good, reasonably priced way to adapt the dreaded 5 bolt rear hubs on a 1987 LT250R quadracer to a nice standard 4x110? I have a chance at a smokin deal on a rebuilt, clean 250R....but the thought of finding wheels for the back so I can have a dune set and a trail set has me wondering if it would be easier/cheaper to find 4 bolt hubs that would work in place of the factory ones? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I'd guess you'll be finding wheels.
Dunes in MN?? Dang the things you learn.......Sorta like when they found out that it snows in MN and buckled that sports arena roof.

I have a set of 5 lug rims. I replaced my axle with a newer one with a different spline count. I don't remember the count #'s. But then you can put z400 hubs on it. The z400 hubs are 4/110. I have Vinson wheels on my LT with 25" tires. It has a GSXR 750 engine in it.

Also on my first Lt I took my wheels to a machine shop and had them re-drilled to fit. Cost $60.00.

I have a '87 Lt500 the Z400 hubs were a direct fit on it. They also fit my '92 LT250R. You should give it try if not I have a bunch of 5lug wheels to sell you.

the 88 on up LT250R and the 500zilla had the same axles, the 86 and 87 were a different spline.....if I read my research correctly, so that may not work for me, but it would be nice to try, I guess I'll call that guy up and see if he still has it.....87 LT250R powervalve motor, rebuilt, rebuilt shocks, plastic almost like new, nerf bars and bumper plus piped and clamp on K&N filter, so probably no air box, but I mostly want a trail/dune quad, so an Outerwears on the K&N should keep the water and sand out. and he only wants 1000 for it, was asking 1600 but is selling it this weekend for 1000 because he needs cash to fix his truck and move out of town.

I thought that also but took a chance that the Z hubs would work and they did. I know my zilla is a '87 it has the '87 upper a arms and the large intake port, unless the rear axle was changed sometime before I bought it.
