Default Ebay or OEM replacement starter?

I have a 2006 Suzuki lt80 and I need to get a new starter for it....I need to know what you guys reccomend....buying the $40 EBAY starter and who to get it from(i.e. which EBAY seller?) or opt for the Suzuki OEM $200 starter....Has anyone had any luck with the "aftermarket" starters and who'd you buy it from? Thanks for the help....

I would try out the aftermarket starter. At $40 vs $200 even if the OEM starter lasted twice as long it would work out to $80 vs 200.

I know nothing about the seller, but this seems like a good deal.

Heck, just the rebuild kit alone for one of my bikes was 40 bucks.

I called the nearest Suzuki shop and they said bring the starter in and they'd look it over and check it out....The tech guy said the brushes were out of spec and the Armour(sp) was fine...so I bought the brush replacement kit ($64) . I installed it and it didnt help any...still seems like the starter is dragging and the starter relay is still tripping/popping out.... so I might have to opt for a complete starter now....This Suzuki dealer wanted $278 for the OEM starter...

I'm going to guess that they said it's an electrical part, and even though they were wrong, they won't give you your money back.

Swapped out the factory petcock with a Yamaha Banshee petcock..easy except the Banshee petcock hose nozzle is twice the diameter of the stock lt80 petcock's and the Banshee's also comes out facing towards the front of the bike and the stock petcock went straight down so I had to get new fuel line.
And I got my Ebay starter today...I ordered it from ALLPRO Part....super fast shipping and it worked GREAT. I just tapped the starter button and she roared to life......My daughter is SO HAPPY.
