Default 2003 suzuki 80 atv

My friend bought his son a suzuki 80. When he got it home I noticed there was a crack in the case that comes from the engine back to the transmission ( think that's what it is). Well the case now broke and the rear end is cockeyed now. Does anyone know where I can find one of these. And if this is what is called. I think it's the transmission, holds the rear also, and the rear shock. Sorry not familiar with the way the setup is on this. Any help would be great. The atv still starts up and drives, I advised him not to do it. Looks like if it snaps the rest of the way the whole rear end will come out. Thank's. Even if it's just the case we could just swap parts out of the old trans to another one.

No. The rear end (shock mount) connects to the engine with 2 steel plates.
I'd switch the crank and put new bearings and seals in for $250 total.
Did you look at the parts fiche to be sure that he needs the cases?
