I was at Macon last weekend and got a good view of TC and Gusts new toy. The frame is a Walsh R based chassis with red and white 250R oem plastic. A lot of people never even realized that the motor was a Suzuki and not a Honda. The motor is of undisclosed displacement but being the new AMA rule is 440cc's I bet it hovers right around that. It has a TC made headpipe and the shorty silencer that he runs on all his 4 strokes. I snuck a close look at it and on the left handlebar is the Electric Start button. Didn't see where the battery was mounted, possibly centrally? I got to see this beast run in pro practice Friday as well as Saturday and Sunday. It sounded like it hit the low rev ceiling of the Suzuki a lot or had a float problem at first but I am not an expert. They got it figured out cause Doug was FLYING the 1st pro moto and took the win. The 2nd moto he was working his way up the pack when a bunch of oil started burning on the header. An oil line broke and he shut it down. Stay tuned for pictures in Dirtwheels or another mag cause they were doing a photo shoot there of it on the track. I can bet $$$ that this machine will be winning some races.
