I have an 86 LT250R. It has a twist throtle kit on it now that was $70. I just recieved a used thumb throtle from East Coast ATV and it didn't come w/ the cable. Will the cable on there now for twist work w/ the thumb throtle??????? THANKS!!

 

why don't u keep your twist?i'd never go back to a thumb on mine.

250x, did east coast charge you $55 for it? I emailed them and they said the had some from hondas that would work and they wanted $55. I would have assumed that would have come with the cable

 

why don't you just take the twist trottle off and see? how hard could that be?

No, it cost me $30 and they said they would include the used cable but did not. I don't want to call and get it from east coast because it took 1 week to get here (3 days later than the said). I will just pay a few bucks more for one at my local performance shop. thanks

When I sold my Warrior I used a Honda thumb throttle on it with the twist cable. What I am trying to say is a thumb should work on any ATV with slight modification. Look on Ebay. I personaly think if you need a thumb throttle the honda ones are the most comfortable.
