need help

I have a 04 z400 and my chain popped off and now i can't shift out of first gear. what happened

I have moved this over to the suzuki section to get you more answers. When the chain came off, did it break or bend anything in the process?

Not that i can see. I still can go into reverse and first but that is it.

When the chain came off, it wound/bound up around the front sprocket?
Prolly have to get inside.

Fair bet it bent a shaft when that happened.
