I have a 2004 Vinson auto with a broke shift lever, the entire handle and the weld broke inside the sifting box and are gone.

I have found a complete lever for an 02 vinson auto I can buy used. I looked at the schematics online for both years and there is some subtle changes but it looks like it may work (updated bracket and different ways it cable hangers but the box is the same).

It does look like there is no 3 prong plug on the 02 version like on the 04, is this shifter position? Could I get around that?


Can anyone make me feel better that it will work before shelling out the cash to get it and try it?
