JustRandy -- Thanks for the info on the weight of the tires! Very good info...

So...unless something changes...I'm going with the ITP Mud Lites AT!

Quick Update:
So...believe or not...but this morning my King Quad was finally delivered. YES...the thread was started back in February...but it finally made its way to Albuquerque!

Really haven't had a lot of time to look it over...but will this weekend. I'll report back. Hoping this will be a fun project!

I don't see the question, but I go tthis in the mail:

"Hi all. This question is for my *2000 King Quad LT-F300FY 4x4* .

I noticed the fuel petcock does not seem to have an OFF position. I see the following:

RESV
PRIM
ON

I'm concerned about transporting and storing the machine. Really...my garage now smells like a gas station."

When its working like it was designed, "on" and "res" are "off" when the engine is off. "Prime" is "on" all the time. But commonly, the vacuum diagram inside the petcock breaks and gas gets sucked into the manifold. In that case, you have to cut the vacuum line and plug both ends. Then put it on "prime" when you want to ride.

Sorry...I posted the question in this thread...but was actually meaning to start a new thread.

New thread here... http://forums.atvconnection.com/suzu...-question.html

Makes sense that it is vacuum actuated. Oh yeah...guess where I had it positioned??? Yup...had it on PRI. Now...it's on 'ON' position...and I will monitor how it functions.

...UPDATE...
Ok, so I did NOT go with the ITP Mud Lites.

I went with the Kenda Bear Claw tires!! These tires are just about perfect IMHO for this 2000 KQ 300 4x4!! The fit is perfect.

Have used them multiple times while hunting. No issues...and happy with my purchase.

All this about tyres, and on most of the pictures some of the tyres are on backwards!

I noticed that some of his tires were on backwards, but maybe he had a specific reason?? I don't know...
