Thanks. There was no fuse, so I put a new one in and jumped the battery. The starter turned right over and finally started. Same problem with this unit as well, no low end power. I'll go through air filter, carb and check out doing the clutch. I bought these suzuki's instead of the chinese knockoffs for the sole reason of being able work on them and parts availability. Looks like i'm going to get my chance. I know i'll be back to this site for more help.

I would rather have an old suzuki in my garage then any chinese quad. And lt80 is a great quad my daughters have got great use of of ours.

When you say it has no bottom end power is that with you on it? Does it go when no one is on it?

On the 2006, it starts ok, but alot of white smoke. When I try to ride it, it doesnt want to go right off. If face it down hill, then it will take off. My son just rode it for 2 hours and he had no problems. I think it is a weight issue (200 vs 65lbs).

on the Late 80's model. I took the carb off and cleaned it. It appeared to pretty clean already. Jets are clear, but whipped everything and used carb cleaner. Reassembled and installed. But the throttle cable doesn't appear to be engaged. It the throttle lever feels loose. Its connection to the carb is on tight. Does it have to seat a certain way? Hate to give in now and take it to a dealer, but i'm close.

Its possible they are rated for 130 pounds. Mine doesn't wanna go to good off the start with my 200 pound self either.

What do you mean about the cable. Is there no spring in the thumb throttle when you push it?

Did all the components in the carb seem to he there? Spring and such

Use the manual link I posted and you can see the exploded view of the card assembly. Anything missing?
