92 Suzuki LT230E Quadrunner bore

Default 92 Suzuki LT230E Quadrunner bore

is it safe to bore these motors to 68mm? i dont want it to blow up or ruin a cylinder a year down the road? and will boring do alot of good?

1st you need to find ou if your cylinder is nikasiled. If it is, there is no boring to be done, just slap a new piston in.
If it's not nikasiled, then it can be bored.
Boring bigger will not increase power or speed.

Yes u can go that big but I would just bore it to the next size over what you already have.That thing will run great.Had my lt230e 1989 quadrunner bore to 66.50mm and runs perfect. The stock bore is 66.00mm.

Did u notice any speed or power differences? I already bought the .40 over kit so that's what I'm having done plus I bought a stage 1 hotcam and ima take it in and have the carb rejetted

Yes when a quad needs to be bored n its all back together rite, you can can tell its not going to beat a 450 quad.I have stock cam n carb n its fast.
