I have recently bought my first atv a Suzuki lt250s and it runs good but I'm having a problem with the clutch. I can let go of the clutch lever and it will slowly engage. It doesn't slip when it engages though. Since i just bought it I don't know what the previous owner has done to it. I know cars but as this is my first atv I need help to figure out whats going on.

 

No worries guys I replaced the clutch cable and now it works fine. When I took the cable off it had apparently been sitting on the exhaust for some time. Whether or not that caused the problem I don't know but the cable was the problem
